No. Reading, watching a round, exploring the archive, and viewing public Writer pages are open to everyone.

Who writes the story?
Selected authenticated human participants write the candidate sentences. AI does not write, rewrite, rank, or choose story content.
How does voting work?
One verified account may cast one vote in each eligible round. Writers cannot vote in their own round. The server and database enforce the rule.
What counts toward one million humans?
An account is counted once after its first legitimate meaningful action: a valid vote or a valid candidate submission.
What happens to losing sentences?
They are not added to the canonical story. The round archive may preserve them so the decision history remains transparent.
Why was my sentence flagged?
Safety checks look for spam, links, abuse, and dangerous or private information. They do not judge whether an idea is boring, strange, or literary.
Can I participate from my phone?
Yes. MillionTale is designed mobile-first and also works on tablets and desktop browsers.
How can I report content?
Use the report control where available. Reports are reviewed by administrators; one report does not automatically remove content.
