See the story being built.
Once the story begins, anyone can read it and follow the current round without an account.
- 02 · Propose
Three humans write one sentence each.
Exactly three eligible humans are selected from the writer pool. Each can submit one English sentence before the deadline. Missed turns or safety checks can mean fewer approved sentences reach voting.
- 03 · Decide
The world chooses the next line.
Eligible signed-in participants may cast one vote during normal voting and one additional vote if a tie opens sudden death. Writers cannot vote in their own round. Votes must be cast before the phase closes, and human votes determine the result. If Sudden Death is still tied, or the deciding phase receives zero votes, there is no winner and no official sentence.
- 04 · Remember
Every winning line joins the book.
Candidate authors remain anonymous during voting. After completion, the winning sentence joins the permanent public story with its round, Writer Number, and Human Number where available. Approved losing sentences may remain in the round archive without naming their authors.
AI can help keep the experiment safe. It cannot write the story.
AI may assist with safety moderation only. It never writes, rewrites, ranks, selects, or chooses story content. Humans write the sentences and human votes determine the result.
